Our calculators use standard industry formulas and are accurate within 3–5% for typical projects. They are planning tools, not substitutes for a contractor quote or engineer's estimate. Real project costs vary based on site conditions, local labor rates, equipment availability, material supply, and many other factors that cannot be captured in a calculator.
We always recommend adding a 5–10% waste factor to any material order, and getting at least two contractor quotes before committing to a paving or landscaping project.
